I’ve booked to come to The Swinside Inn.  Will I lose my booking?

**UPDATED Tuesday 31 MARCH 2020

First of all, THANK YOU for all your kind messages, enquiring after the health of us all, and also offering to move bookings to later in the year.  I haven’t been able to respond to those messages, but have read them all. As far as we can tell, we’re all safe and well.

Otherwise, please be kind.  I am not ignoring you.  We, ourselves, are STILL awaiting promised help.

If you’ve booked to stay at any time between now and 31 May 2020, you should have heard from me already, confirming that the business is closed and that I will be in touch, (when I can do so) to see what we can do for you.

To be perfectly honest, I have no idea what the next step is.

What I am doing, is keeping a note of cancellations, and if there is any way we can offer something later on, (whether that is a refund, or an offer to put your payment towards a stay at a different time) then we will.  Please note, I have no idea how long this process might take, and I really appreciate your patience.  I am doing this in addition to assisting Ben navigate the government’s new systems, and attempt to make an insurance claim, whilst continuing to pay staff.  In addition to this, we’re trying to look after our own health and look out for family, friends and neighbours, but please be assured that I haven’t forgotten any of you.

Hopefully, it’s obvious that I’m unable to make any promises about this, but I feel sure that we’ll be happy to see you later in the year, if we can.

For bookings 1 June and onwards, the situation may well be the same, but I’m trying to do one thing at a time, at the moment.  Please check back on here on occasion for updates.

I hope all this makes sense.  If you need me, then you can either reply to your confirmation email, or there’s a form below.  Please be patient with me, I’ll do my very best for you.

Stay Safe Everyone, and Be Kind.
